Now to create an OpenCV project on Eclipse, there are a few yet important steps that need to be taken to see that the program run smoothly.

Creating the project and typing in the code is trivial. But the main thing is this. Create a folder within the workspace, (preferably called includes) and copy all the header files that will be included.
Then, another folder called 'dll' can be created containing all the dlls within the workspace. But the main step is the setting up of the project properties.
so the steps are as follows:-Now here we go to Project properties and set the directories, to the includes directory. Here we set the directory under the GCC C++ Compiler flag.

Next go to the MinGW C++ Linker where we set up the names of the libraries and the library search path. This should be enough to get the OpenCV project get going.

Configuring a bluetooth mouse in Fedora 10

Now, the bluetooth mouse to get to work in Fedora is a little painful task. First we must go to the console and enter as root or superuser.
Then we type the command hcitool scan to scan for the existing unconfigured hardware. Then we go to /etc/bluetooth/rfcomm.conf and open it in an editor and add the lines
device device-address-as-given-in-hcitool
name device-name
Them go to services management and restart the bluetooth module and then go to command line as su and type hidd --search. The bluetooth mouse is ready for use.

Linux on Dell Inspiron

Installing Fedora 10 on Dell Inspiron 1525 can be a big pain. Because once you install the windows vista would not load. There is nothing to panic, (though personally it scared me out of my wits). The problem can be rectified, as follows

Open the grub.conf file for editing. there change the hd0 to hd1 in the location i.e. the expression (hd0, rootnoverify) to (hd1, rootverify). this problem occurs because of the dell media direct previously installed causing the hard disk no of os to be hd1 instead of hd0.
